The American Republic First and Forever
Order of the President
Put the American Republic First and Forever.
Why the Republic First and Forever
The American Republic shall come First and Forever. Our Liberty has guided this Republic toward the adoption of a new Amendment which we have voted in favor of. Now a part of our Constitution, my desire as President is firm to enact it. I ask Congress to pass legislation detailing how we will Make America Great Again and Forever, by coming up with policy to achieve it. And as President, I would like to set out the major aims I think would accord with it.
I would tell the Constitutor this: "My Liberty, I am certain you will find my proposal fitting."
Major aims:
- An economic program, health care and social security reform, energy policy, and protection for the environment grounded in fiscally sound, growth-oriented, market-based solutions.
- A national security policy that maintains American military preeminence because it is indispensable to the defense of freedom at home and to the discharge of global responsibilities abroad, and which, in its commitment to defending the nation against the new threats of mega-terror, is as passionate about individual liberty as it is about security and is prepared, based on constitutional principles, to responsibly fashion the inevitable, painful tradeoffs.
- A foreign policy that builds on the Truman Doctrine, the Reagan Doctrine, and the Bush Doctrine by recognizing America’s vital national security interest in advancing liberty and democracy abroad while realistically calibrating undertakings — military, diplomatic, and developmental — to the nation’s limited knowledge and restricted resources.
- An orientation toward international relations that promotes free trade, respects international law and institutions while protecting the legitimate prerogatives of national sovereignty, and seeks alliances and opportunities to operate within multilateral frameworks but, particularly where vital national security interests are at stake, is prepared to act alone.
- A focus on reducing the number of abortions and increasing the number of adoptions.
- Efforts to keep the question of same-sex marriage out of the federal courts and subject to consideration by each state’s democratic process.
- Measures to combat illegal immigration that are emphatically pro-border security and pro-lawful immigrant.
- A case for school choice as an option that enhances individual freedom while giving low-income, inner-city parents opportunities to place their children in classrooms where they can obtain a decent education.
- A demand that public universities abolish speech codes and vigorously protect liberty of thought and discussion on campus.
- The appointment of judges who understand that their duty is to interpret the Constitution and not make policy, who bring to their task a presumption in favor of vindicating constitutional principles and protecting individual liberty, and who, where the Constitution is most vague, recognize the strongest obligation to defer to the results of the democratic process.
What We Support
I now outline broader issues which we are committed to firmly, profess some matters of debate within those mandates, then advocate for granular points of initiative.
Broader Initiatives
- freedom of speech
- right to self-defense, bear arms
- pro-truth
- prioritization of the US, her citizens, and their well being therein (above all other nations) — strong borders and immigration policy (that serves the American people's interest) and strong defensive military to protect (not pro war or hawkish) and to preserve
- pro-tradition and pro-Christianity basis for American civilization and morality — even if not a Christian, Christianity as the basis for the nation, is fundamental for what we want to preserve—for those not yet there on their faith walk—so we don't have a European vacuum that gets filled with such things as Islam
- pro traditional gender roles societally — nuclear family and anti-unlimited LGBTQ — (you can be gay, but recognize that the rearing of children, the nuclear family—father, husband, mother, wife—are fundamental to self-governance) — Pro natalist: preserve the country, be fruitful and multiply — pro life in principal: what is realistic in what we've seen, in sending it back to the states, but in principal here
Important Yet Room for Some Debate
- the degree to pro life vision in contrast to state variances — how we eliminate as much abortion as possible
- the degree of economic regulation balancing free and open commerce — balancing free and open commerce with protectionism — in protecting open markets and free exchange we need to, sometimes, eliminate bad actors who've taken advantage of us (libertarians don't always agree, it's ok; it's open to some debate)
- protecting American business and consumers — not wall street, not giant banks, but — protecting the American dream, meaning American entreprenuership, innovation, and consumers, who are free to purchase and vote with the dollar
- approach to Islamic containment — you must recognize the threat of Islam as a political prescription, but this is how we deal with it — being hawkish hasn't worked, some try isolationist — some say a very low interventionist approach — some say containment requires being more proactive — we can disagree on means, but that doesn't mean expelling someone
Granular Points
This Republic does—
- oppose extreme forms of abortion.
- oppose erosion of immigration laws.
- actively support deportations of illegals aliens.
- support the building of a border wall.
- oppose forms of censorship or "hate speech" as sometimes or often justified.
- oppose experimental sexuality, gender, including transitioning of children.
- oppose teaching public curriculums that paint America as the villains of history, "more guilty than other nations" to have come before us.
- oppose significant erosions and ultimately the stripping of 2nd amendment rights
- hold negative views of socialism.
- oppose more government control over children in comparison and in lieu of their parents.
- hold positive views of traditional Christianity.
- oppose feminism, especially the upending of traditional gender norms.
- oppose DEI-based hiring practices and quotas.
- oppose the removal of historical American, Christian symbolism, including monuments, documents, and wording.
- oppose extreme environmental restrictions on daily life including cars, food, etc
- oppose affirmative action in education.
- oppose increases in almost all significant taxes outside of poverty income bracket.
- oppose policy that those in poverty not be required to contribute anything to taxes, and be net drains.
- support work requirements for welfare and social safety net benefits.
- oppose use of said benefits for sugary soda drinks.
- support voter id.
- oppose use of violence as a means of political resistance or readily available tool for political change.
The Informed Voices
I ask Congress to continue passing their legislation for the establishment of a Civil Team to advocate and advance our positions outside of our organization. Congress needs to formally lay out the Informed Voices by producing a Civil Advocacy Team. This team should consist of Protestors who will be well-informed, and vocally capable of propelling our policy objectives to people outside of our organization.
